CWWH lunch Seminar - The Ice Hockey Project
We are excited to kick off our fall CWWH Research Seminar Series on Wednesday, August 27, with Fredrik Lange, Assistant Professor at the Center for Wellbeing, Welfare, and Happiness (CWWH).
In the seminar Fredrik will present the first findings from the Ice Hockey Project, a CWWH initiative together with the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), where we aim to understand supporter happiness, social connections with other supporters, and overall life satisfaction.
The first results from this long-term project show that ice hockey has positive effects on the wellbeing and happiness of supporters in general, and that these effects are not solely dependent on the results of the team you support. These and other findings will be presented and discussed, and we hope you will want to participate, either in the room or via link.
